Thank you for you interest in auditioning for Word Nerd!
The audition will consist of reading through some scenes and 1 to 2 minutes of singing with a piano accompanist.
For your audition, please select a side from below and bring in sheet music for a song of your choice.
Below, you will find links for the “sides” which are the scenes we read in auditions and the audition pakcet, which we’ve compiled to try and prepare everyone for this audition. We’re dedicated to demystifying the audition process so let us know if you have any additional questions.
We are holding an audition workshop on Sunday, September 26th, at 2 PM to help prepare people for auditions. This will be in the Hopper Cabaret. You can find more info here.
All of the auditions will take place in the Hopper Cabaret, which is in the Hopper Basement.
