The Yale Baroque Opera Project (YBOP), founded in 2007, introduces Yale students to historical and aesthetic studies related to Italian opera from the 17th and early 18th centuries.
The students’ studies culminate each year with a full-scale professional opera production which serves to promote the study and performance of Baroque opera at both Yale and beyond.
