The Opera Theatre of Yale College (OTYC) is the undergraduate opera company at Yale University. Our organization is entirely student-run; every show offers our members the opportunity to learn firsthand the mechanics of performing and producing an opera. Our members are singers, instrumentalists, conductors, theatre technicians, costume and set designers, choreographers, and dancers. OTYC is an immersive extracurricular experience that prepares young artists and administrators for professional life after Yale. We are committed to bringing creative, thoughtful, and innovative opera productions to the Yale and New Haven communities.
