Three Sisters

A Senior Thesis in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies for Benjamin Jimenez and Emily Patrick, and in Music for Sam Tucker-Smith

by Sam Tucker-Smith

Three Sisters
Three Sisters is a new musical based on Anton Chekhov’s play of the same name.

Olga, Masha, and Irina know that something is missing. They need purpose. They need excitement. They need love. And — most of all — they need to move back to Moscow. Over the course of four years, we follow these sisters as they dream, rebel, screw up, and persevere in their quest to discover what makes life worth living.

Three Sisters will be a spring production seminar, developed in TDPS 3503, “Three Sisters: Creating a Musical.” It will be directed by Professor Annette Jolles.
