Poster of In The Heights

The winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical, In the Heights tells the hopeful story of the tight-knit community of Washington Heights— first generation college students, hairdressers, bodega owners and more— as they navigate the changing landscape of their neighborhood and the summer heat. A collaboration between Pulitzer prize winners Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes, In the Heights joyously celebrates Latinx heritage, immigrant identities, and black and brown city life.

This is a musical by and for people of color.
