The experiences that I've had performing- primarily singing and acting- with groups of people have been the most enriching experiences of my life. I acted in school plays throughout elementary school and took theater intensive courses in middle school, and I performed in the annual musical at a nearby high school for four years.These experiences helped me develop the dedication and passion that is needed to be a productive member of a cast, and they showed me how to push my boundaries as a performer. I am eager to get more involved in theater here at Yale in order to grow as a performer, make meaningful friendships, and hopefully spread positive messages through performance.
