Audition For Sike!

Audition Instructions:

Sike! is a collection of four original short plays from Aster Aguilar ‘24, Sasha Carney ‘23, and Lekha Sunder ‘23 that centers on the forgotten corners of mental health and illness. We’re hoping to raise attention around these issues in a thought-provoking, funny, and (sometimes) spooky way. We will be putting on the plays in the Nick Chapel Theater from April 12-14th and would love to have you audition!

Auditions will be held March 6th (4:30-6:30, WLH 113) and March 8th (3-6pm, WLH 015). The audition will be very simple and only 15 minutes long. Just come in with one of the audition slides found below prepared (read for any part you want, we will read for the other). You don’t at all have to be memorized. Then, we might ask you to read it again following some notes or read for another part. Depending on the needs of the show and the number of auditions, we might hold callbacks over zoom on Thursday/ Friday (in case you’re already away for break). If this poses an issue for you, we will figure something out!

**Don’t use the audition slots below, find a time here**

Once you sign up for a time, please fill out the audition form here as well.

If none of the audition slots work for you, we can arrange for a zoom alternative or you can submit a self-tape! To do this, or raise any questions/ concerns, please reach out to Lekha at lekha.sunder@yale.edu

We’re excited to see you!
