We’re so excited that you’re interested in auditioning for Onward and Upward. This new musical will be workshopped throughout the semester and will culminate in a series of staged readings from December 2nd to 4th.
Auditions and callbacks will be held in the Hopper Cabaret. For your audition, we’ll ask you to sing a 32-bar cut (about 1-2 minutes) of a song of your choice and read a side from the show. Sides for each character are attached below, as are musical cuts from the show which you are welcome to prepare. (The relevant accompaniment and plunk tracks, which you can use to learn the songs, are available here.) For further information, read the attached audition packet, where you’ll also find a synopsis, a character breakdown, and information about the rehearsal process and expected time commitments.
