Spring Awakening
by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik
Spring Awakening follows a group of teenagers in 1891 as they come of age in a repressive German province. Veering between the worlds of rock, folk and 19th-century tragedy, the teenagers seek out answers to their questions about sex, faith, morality, and friendship in the pursuit of freedom, feeling, and connection.
