Avery Brown


Avery Brown is a first-year in Morse College from central New Jersey. He has been performing in the theatre since freshman year of high school, first playing guitar in the pit band for Urinetown before taking on various stage roles. Shows he has performed in include Pippin (Ensemble, u/s Leading Player), Little Shop of Horrors (Wino I, Mr. Bernstein), and The Twenty-Fifth Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear). Avery was also assistant director of his school’s Performing Arts Club. 

So far at Yale, Avery has been co-Stage Manager of Causation (by Lulu Klebanoff GH ‘20, dir. Zak Rosen TC ‘20). He is currently in the ensemble of American Idiot (dir. Madison Cole MC ‘22), and an assistant stage manager of Y2K (by Dylan Schiffrin ES ‘20, dir. Alexandra Thomas BF ‘21). 

Can play guitar (primarily electric, but also acoustic or bass), sing, and make eggs sunny side up
