Audition For Our Bodies by Ben Klebanoff

We’re so excited you’re interested in Our Bodies!!!!!

We will be holding the first round of auditions starting on the 1st of October [more slots added on the 7th and 11th]. If you are thinking of auditioning, please fill out this form so that we can get to know you a bit better beforehand!

In your audition we’ll ask you simply to bring in any monologue of your choosing. Memorization is not required. Attached here are three of the monologues in the play, which you are welcome to perform. If none of those take your fancy and/or you don’t have something else prepared, we’ve also linked a folder of a bunch of (queer) monologues that you can browse and use!! The only advice we’d give is to choose a piece that speaks to you and when it comes to identity and representation be sensitive and respectful about the story you are choosing to embody.

You can sign up for an individual audition at any of the times listed below (you have to be signed in/create an account on this website to select a slot). Tuesday the 4th’s auditions will take place in Watson Centre A32 (1-2:30 and 4-5pm), Friday the 7th’s (4-6pm) in Phelps Hall 207, and Tuesday the 11th’s back in Watson Centre A32 (3-6pm)! If none of the times work for you, please reach out and we’ll figure an alternative out!
