Audition For A Few Good Men

PLEASE NOTE: All auditionees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per Yale’s public safety policies.

Also note, you must be logged into a Yale College Arts Account with your netID and name in order to book an audition slot.

We will be holding an audition workshop on Sunday September 5 at 10:30 AM in the Pauli Murray Elevated Courtyard. Attendance is not mandatory, but is a way for us to help anyone who is new to the audition process or would like guidance regarding their audition.

Auditions will be held outdoors in the courtyard of the Humanities Quadrangle. This is the building formerly known as the Hall of Graduate Studies, located next to Toad’s and behind Sterling Library and the Law School.

If none of the available time slots work for you, email stage manager Sophie (sophia.dopico@yale.edu) and we will work with you to set up an additional time or arrange for you to send in an audition video instead.

In the audition packet below, you will find a full list of characters, in order of their Military Rank. Please take care to read the notes at the top of the page, the character descriptions, and any content warnings associated with a character. You can also find below a chart showing the Military chain of command within this show.

Also in the audition packet, you will find four “sides” (audition scenes). Please prepare (memorization NOT required) one of these sides to read at your audition, though please familiarize yourself with all of them, as we may ask you to read a second one as well.

Please bring your own copy (paper or digital) of your monologue to use in your audition, in order for us to minimize the use of shared materials among auditionees (for COVID reasons). Please also try to arrive at least 5 minutes early for your audition slot in order to fill out the audition information form.
