A family memory affects three generations of women, who have had to deal with separations in their lives. This film mixes non-fiction and fiction storytelling, through visualizing ancient Chinese poetry and cultural symbols and a voiceover transcending time and space.
Lingyun Zheng is a filmmaker born and raised in China. With years of hands-on experience, she is determined to explore the new meaning of Chinese culture in global cultural environment.
