Thank you so much for your interest in The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals! Auditions will take place in the Saybrook Underbrook and will run from August 29 to September 1. We’ve added NEW audition slots on September 1 for those who couldn’t make the earlier times!
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a modern musical theatre song and 1-2 of the following sides. We will ask you to read for the character who is listed at the top of the page. So, for instance, if you would like to read for Paul, please prepare his lines in Option 1. If you select Option 4 as one of your sides, you may choose to read for either Charlotte or Ted.
Memorization is NOT required! You are welcome to read off your phone or tablet. We will also provide print copies on the day of the audition, or you may bring your own paper copy if you prefer.
Sides are currently available in both 12 pt. font and 18 pt. font. Please email madeleine.loewen@yale.edu if you would like a different font size. We will send you a virtual copy and provide you with a print copy on the day of the audition.
Lastly, please make sure to fill out the following Google Form prior to your audition: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJF2N2o_0fTomWyvT-r3lq77Y1qYD4…This will allow us to consider you for the roles that you would like to be considered for!
