Join Valley Road Theatre Company as we embark on our most daunting project yet — an epic adaptation of Ernest Hemingway’s masterpiece, THE SUN ALSO RISES. This production is an open-world immersive experience that we will bring to life in April 2027.
About the show: VRTC’s THE SUN ALSO RISES is a love story of the lost generation. Across the nightlife, lust, and liquor of 1920’s Paris and the bullfights of Spain, Jake Barnes and Lady Brett Ashley attempt to find themselves in the angst and disillusionment of post-WWI Europe. Simultaneous storylines erupt, combining Hemingway’s text with myths of Ariadne and the Minotaur.
