I Was Never Alone

I WAS NEVER ALONE (IWNA) is a staged reading of a documentary play about disability in Russia. The script is based on interviews with real people. A series of six portraits - each focusing on a different person - come together in a unified narrative suitable for a 90 minute performance. IWNA has been workshopped and performed in the Department of Theatre & Dance at UC San Diego in La Jolla and in the Performance Studies program at UNC Chapel Hill.
