Duet

Leo, a college student stuck in monotony, is drawn into a music room by the sound of a song and meets Ceci, a fellow student whose friendship briefly brightens his days. When she discovers a long-abandoned instrument in his apartment, Leo lashes out, revealing his deep wounds tied to music. Flashbacks slowly uncover the truth: his sister, once his duet partner, died after asking him to play for her one last time. Drifting apart from Ceci, Leo eventually finds the courage to reopen his case and reconnect with his past. When she later catches him practicing, no words are needed. They sit together and play in harmony, music becoming the bridge between grief, healing, and beginning their connection anew. A new short by Nicolas Maynulet and Ava Seymour.
