Do Your Happy Dance, Jericho!

Baking bread and Netflix binge-watching have finally been exhausted. Time to embrace the pandemonium.
One man trapped in his room decides to share with his Zoom audience how he passes time and escapes from reality: making up a story on the spot, and playing all the characters. He has snitched for shrimp as “Sharon” and has happy-danced as “Jericho,” and now we get to see who he plays next and what world will be built before our eyes, then left behind after the brief hour we’re together.
This experiment in ‘improv in isolation’ asks questions of how we use spontaneity to portray human experience onstage, and is imbued with the themes of ephemerality, mourning, and desire for connection we face in these unprecedented times.
