Carrie wants to love the right way, but figuring it out all alone makes it hard to stay out of her own head.

Join Yale senior, Amani Hill, in screening her thesis film. The film, a meditation on Black womanhood, follows a woman trying to put herself first in the midst of expectations and what she “should” be doing. This project was made possible with support from a Women at Yale Arts Grant as part of the 50 Women at Yale 150 Celebration, and this screening is hosted by Pierson College and the Afro-American Cultural Center as it celebrates it’s 50 Year Anniversary.
