Angels

6 friends. 24 hours. 1 beach. Set in Los Angeles, California, Angels follows a group of best friends on their last day of summer before they start freshmen year of college. Throughout the course of the day the friends joke, drink, smoke, fight, love, and do the dramatic things that kids do the day before their lives change. At the center of the play lies Los Angeles itself, a city that exists at the intersection between fantasy and reality. Each kid grapples with the disconnect between what LA is and what it is perceived to be, all while trying to figure out what happened to a girl who went missing the night before.
