Founded in 2003, Bulldog Productions is Yale’s student-run film production house. BP primarily produces narrative-based short films of various lengths (from roughly 3 to 53 minutes, in recent memory), but has worked in other filmed mediums, including music videos, documentaries, and web series. BP follows a set process for producing short films over organized periods of time in an attempt to simulate real-world production, but is also a collaborative teaching entity where students with little experience can learn from their peers and students with more experience can experiment and try new roles. Members of Bulldog Production enjoy working as a team and helping each other to bring stories to life, from screenplay to production to the final product.
The Yale Film Society is a student-run organization devoted to promoting film culture at Yale. YFS is proud to bring students, faculty, and prominent members of the film community together to discuss and experience film. Events include: dinners, screenings, sneak previews, and post-screening discussions with special guests.
