Membership

To become a member of the Cinemat, one must complete 2 out of the 3 induction requirements listed below and fill out this Membership Declaration Form:

1) Work on a Yale student film production in any role (the 24-Hour Film Festival and FroFilm count!)
2) Attend 2 Cinemat workshops or social events.
3) Work on a Directing for Good project in any role.

A Cinemat membership includes the following benefits:

• Eligibility to run for Cinemat board positions.
• Priority advertising on newsletter and website.
• Access to Cinemat special effects makeup.
• Access to Cinemat equipment rental, including items such as V-Mount batteries, a dolly, lapel microphones, and storage cards.
• Access to Cinemat digital resources, including a Shotdeck subscription and sound effects library subscription.

You also get to sign your name on our Cine-Apple Box, a Cinemat tradition at initiation!
