Funding Resources

Undergraduate arts groups may seek funding support from the Undergraduate Organizations Funding Committee (UOFC) and the Creative and Performing Arts Award (CPA).

The Undergraduate Organizations Funding Committee (UOFC) is the main source of funding for all registered student organizations on campus. The UOFC distributes over $200,000 to over 600 student groups from across campus, and enables groups to plan activities, events, trips, and more. Registered organizations can apply for funding by completing the application on the UOFC funding page. There are four rounds of funding per semester. Each round of funding closes at 11:59 PM on the days listed. Groups may collect up to $600 a semester for valid expenses such as printing, costumes, office supplies, guest travel, and food. Student travel, theater rental, and guest artist payment is not covered. Please review the complete grant guidelines prior to submitting a funding request.

The Creative and Performing Arts Award (CPA) is designed to support free on-campus performances by undergraduates. Administered by the Council of Heads of College, this award supports on-campus dramatic, musical, dance, video or film productions, literary publications, and exhibitions in each residential college. Students apply for funding by submitting performance proposals through their residential college head’s office, which may provide up to $1000 to cover accepted performance costs of a dance recital (CPA funding will not pay for wages, food, travel, guest artists, or equipment). CPA funded shows may not charge for tickets. Please review the complete award guidelines prior to submitting a funding request.
