Audition For Davenport Pops Orchestra

 

 

What is DPops?  Well, we’re so glad you asked! DPops, or Davenport Pops Orchestra, is Yale’s only  pops orchestra! (You don’t have to be in Davenport to join ;D )We are entirely student-led (shout-out to our student conductors and composers), and we play music from your favorite pop songs, movies, musicals, and TV shows! 

 

As crazy as this year has been and as much as things have changed, we are not going to let that stop us from having an amazing year as an orchestra. We will still be having performances and social events, just virtually! Also going virtual are our auditions–which is why we’re reaching out today. If you play an instrument (literally any instrument–it does not have to be one found only in a ~traditional orchestra~), and if you love (or even have the slightest liking for) pop music, you should audition for DPops! Send us a 1-2 minute piece of your choosing, and submit it via this audition form (See form and this flyer for more details).
