Preliminary auditions will be done through video submissions to aid singers with larger roles in learning their music before the rehearsal process begins. We encourage all Yale undergraduate students to participate!
The following roles are available, with voice part suggestions listed.
Baron de Pictordu - baritone
Marie, called Cendrillon (Cinderella), daughter of Pictordu - soprano
Armelinde, another daughter of Pictordu - mezzo-soprano
Maguelonne, another daughter of Pictordu - soprano
Fairy Godmother - soprano
Prince Charming - tenor
Comte Barigoule - tenor
Ball guests, ladies, royal footmen - chorus

For the audition video, you can sing about 2–5 minutes of any piece of music that feels most comfortable (any genre is acceptable!) as well as any comfortable vocalisation or scale to demonstrate your comfortable range.
