24 Hour Theater: Intersection

PLAYWRIGHTS, DIRECTORS AND ACTORS WANTED FOR 24-HOUR THEATER FESTIVAL!In conjunction with Pride Month, the YDC presents a 24-hour theater festival exploring the theme of intersection. The 24-Hour Theater Festival process will begin on Friday, March 29 at 8pm, and culminate in a performance of each play on Saturday, March 30 at 8pm.Here’s how the time breaks down:March 29, 8 PM – March 30, 8 AM: Playwrights write 15-30 minute pieces based on a prop and a prompt provided.March 30, 8 AM – 10 AM: Directors look over the script.March 30, 10 AM – 8PM: Actors join the director for rehearsal.March 30, 8 PM: Showtime!The Festival will be a really exciting way to bond with other members of the theater community and produce student-written work in a low-key, fun setting. The Yale Drama Coalition is proud to host this event at the start of Pride Month here at Yale.If you are interested in participating as a playwright, director or actor, please sign up here.
