Sounds of Home
Hosted under the auspices of Yale African Students Association (YASA)’s Africa Week, Sounds of Home will be a live, tiny-desk, intimate music performance showcasing songs from different parts of the African continent. The songs will include Rwandan Soul, South African traditional, Ghanaian Highlife, Jamaican Rastafari, student artist originals, and more. Altogether, Sound of Home will spotlight Africa’s diverse musical traditions through time and space, telling the stories of their cultural and spiritual significance. Join us for a taste of home!
