Shen Curriculum Concert of New Musical Theater Compositions

Please Join us for a Shen Curriculum Concert of New Musical Theater Composition: Tuesday 5/3 at 5:00 PM in the Off-Broadway Theater.  Concert will run about 75 minutes and will be followed by a reception in the OBT.

New composition generated in Musical Theater Composition II (Jeanine Tesori, prof.)  will be performed by (among others) students in Musical Theater Performance II (Annette Jolles, prof.).  The concert will also feature excerpts from five new musicals developed on campus this year.

Composers scheduled to present material include Natalie Brown, Jack Frerer, Jason Kisare, Bairon Reyes Luna, Soleil Singh, Jonathan Weiss, Samantha Wolf, plus Jackie Lee, Kyle Mazer, Ethan Treiman, and Charlie Romano ‘19. Lyricists (not on the above list) include Carly Mazer, Ntozake Shange, Ethan Riordan and Will Wegner. Performers include Fiona Benson,  Ian Berlin, Jordi Bertrán Ramírez, Lauren Bond, Jake Latts, Lauren Marut, Malia Munley, Victoria Pekel, Megan Ruoro, David Townley, Anya van Hoogstraten, Santana Vannarath, plus Dominic Sullivan, Vivie Eteme, Olivia Ridley, Lula Talenfield, and cast members from the various musicals.
