The Yale Student Film Festival
The Yale Student Film Festival is a four-day event dedicated to celebrating the works of student filmmakers worldwide. Since its inception in 2015, it has provided a platform for dedicated young artists and lovers of cinema from around the world to come together, showcase their work, and build connections.
April 11-14th, we invite guests, filmmakers, and students to join us in recognizing selected films and the students behind them.
The festival will feature a lineup of industry speakers, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and various film screenings. Student short films will compete in different categories for prizes, judged by an alumni panel, followed by an awards ceremony and a closing reception.
This year’s festival will feature speakers such as David Hemingson (writer and producer of 2024 Oscar nominated film The Holdovers), Pamela Koffler (producer of Past Lives and May December), Anthony Bregman (producer of Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind), Michael Saltzman (writer and producer on The Boys and Arrested Development) and more!
