Yale Playwrights Festival 2022
The Yale Playwrights Festival is proud to present virtual readings of five new, student-written plays. Over the week of February 13-19th, each brand new play will have a staged reading. Each reading will be followed by a talkback with the playwright, director, and their mentors. Come to one (or all!) of the readings listed below:
Friday, February 18
4:30 pm THIS IS NICE, by Zoe Larkin, directed by Logan Klutse. Mentors Daniel Egan & Ali Viterbi ’14.
7 pm GHOST FRUIT, by Charlotte Foote, directed by Rebecca Salzhauer. Mentors Deborah Margolin & Dave Harris ’16.
Saturday, February 19
1 pm BETWEEN FITFUL SLEEPS, by Sarah Valeika, directed by Abbie Thomas. Mentors Donald Margulies & Edwin Sánchez.
4:30 pm JUBA, or JUMP! By Aaron Magloire, directed by Mikaela Boone. Mentors Colette Robert ’03 & Danielle Stagger (DGSDY ’23).
8 pm MANGO, by Isa Dominguez, directed by Catherine Alam-Nist. Mentors Tencha Avila & Margaret Spillane.

These performances are open to asymptomatic patrons with an up to date vaccination status only.
