Tchaikovsky in Love

by Jeremy Weiss

Poster of Were it Not for Music

A staged reading of this original play, based on Tchaikovsky’s personal letters, journeys through his steamy love affair with violinist Iosif Kotek (the inspiration for his violin concerto), his failed marriage, his struggle to accept his homosexuality, and the constant release of it all - his glorious music.
