ViSA 2024 Cultural Show: An Ode to Home

ViSA 2024 Cultural Show: An Ode to Home
This year’s cultural show focuses on the essence of home and where we all came from, bringing the feeling of nostalgia through our beloved memories from our hometowns and what from it made us love our culture. The show follows the story of an immigrant family through their immigration story in America and how that chase for the American dream gets harder and harder every step of the way. The scenes show the hard parts of immigration but also heavily focuses on the beautiful parts of it–introducing your mother culture to a new land, intensifying familial bond, sisterhood, new friendships, the best parts of growing up. Throughout the show, scenes are followed up with performances, such as dancing, singing, viet culture in so many art forms.
