Essentials for Theater and Performing Arts at Yale
students gathered around a ladder

This workshop from Undergraduate Production will cover information you are required to know in order to work in one of Yale’s many theater and performance spaces. We will cover essential safety guidelines, policies, and best practices for working in the theaters at Yale. There will be hands-on stations to learn new skills, and you’ll meet some of the Undergraduate Production Technical Directors and Peer Mentors.

UPStart is open to any student interested in participating, and the skills are applicable to anyone wanting to work in theater, dance, or other performance capacities. No experience is required or assumed. It will be Saturday, September 9th from Noon-2pm in the Theater and Performance Studies Blackbox at 53 Wall St.
