SLAMMED is set to run February 19th-21st, 2026 in the University Theater. It will be co-directed by Elora Sparnicht ‘27 and Nico Manulet ‘27, produced by Isabel Tiburcio ‘28, and stage managed by Fabeha Jahra ‘28.
What is SLAMMED about?
In the cutthroat high school slam poetry scene of downtown Los Angeles, Drop The Mic Poetry Club’s CompSquad prepares for the Washington D.C. Slam. But when a CompSquad senior is abruptly replaced by a freshman, secrets and insecurities begin to tear the team apart. A dark comedy about ambitious teens who measure their worth in wins, and what happens when it’s not enough.
