“The Silent Lyre” is a newly conceived 17th century operatic pastiche, adapted and music directed by Michael Rigsby, the executive director of the Elm City Consort. Stage directed by Lynda Paul, lecturer in English and Theater Studies, and designed by recent graduates of the Yale School of Drama, “The Silent Lyre” features professional and undergraduate singers and an early music ensemble drawn from the Elm City Consort. The work will be performed in Italian with English supertitles. Running time is approximately 60 minutes without intermission.

Venue Accessibility: 
Lobby is accessible via building entrance by the north Sachem Street gate. Upper lobby and balcony seating is located on the ground level. Lower lobby and stage level seating is accessible via an elevator. Facilities are located on both levels.
