Shen Curriculum for Musical Theater Concert of New Musical Theater Composition

Please join us for a Shen Curriculum Concert of New Musical Theater Composition on. Monday 5/1 at 5:00 PM in the Off-Broadway Theater. The concert will run about 75 minutes and will be followed by a reception in the OBT.

New composition generated in Musical Theater Composition II (Scott Frankel, prof.) will be performed by (among others) students in Musical Theater Performance II (Andréa Burn, prof.). The concert will also feature excerpts from five new musicals developed on campus this year.

Composers scheduled to present material include Cameron Adams, Ben Beckman, Alana Ervin, John Horzen, Shyama Iyer, Jason Kisare, Soleil Singh, Matthew Walak, Emma Ventresca, John Paciga, Natalie Brown and excerpts from original musicals by Jason Kisare, Soleil Singh, and Shyama Iyer.

Performers include Ryan Bronston, Tarel Dennie, Serena Feniger, Lauren Marut, Ava-Riley Miles, Malia Munley, Stella Sekoff, Soleil Singh, Dominic Sullivan, and Anya van Hoogstraten as well as cast members from five original musicals produced on campus this year.
