Much Ado About Nothing

by William Shakespeare

A stylized poster for Much Ado About Nothing, showing at Yale December 4-5.

AUDITIONS ARE OPEN NOW! We’ll see you September 3, 5, and 6!

When the “skirmish of wit” between rivals Beatrice and Benedick becomes too much for their friends to bear, a plan is hatched to bring them into “a mountain of affection, th’ one with th’ other.” Meanwhile, the passionate romance between Beatrice’s cousin Hero and Benedick’s best friend Claudio seems to be blooming too quickly for others’ tastes. As dark schemes unfold and unexpected romances blossom, not everything in Messina is quite as it seems… and summer isn’t over yet.

With some of the most beautiful love poetry ever written, the best witty insults, and hilarious comics in the form of the ineffectual night watchmen, Much Ado About Nothing is the OG enemies-to-lovers romcom: truly Shakespeare at his best.

Our intended show dates have been updated to December 10-12. Tech/show dates may be subject to shift to the week of November 29 - December 5, based on CPA and rights approval.
