Love, Loss, and What I Wore

A Reading

by Nora and Delia Ephron

Poster of Love, Loss, and What I Wore

Described as “a cross between The Vagina Monologues and What Not to Wear,” Love, Loss, and What I Wore is “a show about matters of the heart and matters of the closet” and has been described as “a bittersweet meditation on the joys and tribulations of women’s lives, reflected through the prism of their clothes.” Written by the Ephron sister team that brought you the iconic rom-com You’ve Got Mail, the show is deeply funny and heartfelt. This production will be a reading, and the running time is about 75 minutes. We are also working in conjunction with the Women and Family Life Center, an organization based in the Connecticut Shoreline whose goal is “to provide a safe and intimate setting for women and families to face changes and challenges in their lives with grace, dignity and community support.” This is an incredible organization that helps women and families in times of need with numerous programs that provide education, legal advice, and emotional guidance. We will be taking donations at the door, with a suggested donation of $5–please join us in giving whatever you can!
