Javanese Wayang Kulit
a traditional Javanese shadow play with gamelan music
The Yale University Central Javanese Gamelan Enemble presents a traditional shadow play (wayang kulit) with gamelan music, featuring Ki Darsono Hadiraharjo as dhalang (puppeteer and narrator) telling an episode from the Mahabharata epic.
The performance begins at 5pm in Rosenfeld Hall, free and open to the public.
