DPops Defies Gravity: A 20th Anniversary Concert

DPops Defies Gravity: A 20th Anniversary Concert. Our third concert of the year and our annual concert in Woolsey Hall!

The Davenport Pops Orchestra is back with our largest concert of the year! For our 20th anniversary concert, come fly away with us as we play songs from Wicked and Kiki’s Delivery Service! We’ll also be playing songs by Laufey, selections from the soundtrack of Undertale, songs from Les Misérables, and “Africa” by Toto (featuring DPops’ very first conductor)!

To attend the in-person concert, you must register for this event on YaleConnect through your personal YaleConnect account.

We are happy to announce that people not affiliated with Yale may also attend! We especially encourage families, students, and teachers from the New Haven and greater CT area to join us!

Under the YaleConnect page you will find two registration options: (1) General Admission, which is open to the public, allowing attendees to choose up to five tickets for family and friends. (2) Ushers, open ONLY to Yale students who are interested in ushering for the concert.

*****Ushers are guaranteed optimal seating in the Woolsey theater. If you choose (2), we will contact you shortly on what you will need to do.******

Doors to Woolsey Hall open at 2:30pm on Saturday, March 1st. We hope to see you there!

If you can’t snag a ticket in time, or if you have friends/family who can’t attend, we’ll also be livestreaming the concert on our YouTube channel!
