The Devil’s Dictionary
by Ruthie & Nathan Prillaman
In the mountains of Virginia, a young man sets out on a journey to find his wayward father, who disappeared in the fog of the Civil War. A mercenary mistress, a snake-oil salesman, a backwoods mystic and one disembodied arm come to life along the way to help. Presented for your entertainment and edification by the Devil himself, “The Devil’s Dictionary” is a darkly comic roots musical with an original score crafted in the style of folk, bluegrass and mountain music of the American South.
