Blood Brothers
by Willy Russell
BLOOD BROTHERS has been described as “not a ‘musical’ [but a] drama with music.” The show begins with the tragic death of the Johnstone twins, then returns to tell the story of how the two boys were separated at birth and raised in opposite economic and social conditions. BLOOD BROTHERS won the Oliver Award for Best New Musical in 1983 and the current West End revival has been running for 23 years.
