Bismillah: Doesn’t that intimidate you?Cris: Living?Bismillah: Not knowing where you’re going.Cris: So living.Held hostage by the Islamic State, Lulu Rae, Cris, and Ari wait to see if the United States will pay their ransom. Their deaths seem certain, as the US has historically refused to deal with terrorists. But once the hostages start talking back to their captors, it suddenly appears that nothing can be taken for granted.Blindfolded into the Dark explores issues of censorship, so naturally the language and content of the play is uncensored. If you have a weak stomach, virgin ears, or a low tolerance for political incorrectness, you may consider this note both your warning to turn back and your invitation to trespass. This performance is not suitable for audiences under 18. A full reading of the play will be held at 2pm on April 27th in the Morse Crescent Theatre. Catch a sneak preview of the play at 7pm on Wednesday at the Writing Concentrator’s ball in St. Anthony’s Hall, 423 College St.
