Afrogroove: Bring it On

Dzana Dance is Yale’s only active Afrofusion dance group, formed in 2013. Each year, in our Afrogroove spring showcase, we learn and showcase moves from all throughout Africa with the aim of celebrating the diversity and evolution of African culture through dance. This year’s showcase title is “Afrogroove: Bring it On.” Through a mixture of live dances and pre-recorded acting clips, we hope to bring the audience through the story of two best friends whose friendship is left in limbo after only one makes the school’s African dance team.
