I am a freshman at Berkeley College, hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. I intend to study both the arts as well as politics/law here at Yale.
Majority of my art experience has been filled with dance, jazz, and oratory. My most recent production was acting and taking on the role of lead dancer in the play The Wiz, staged at the Ohio Theater in the Playhouse Square.
My jazz experience consists of me playing the alto saxophone in a jazz band based in Cleveland. We have performed at a variety of venues ranging from the Rock'N'Roll Hall of Fame to the Mayor's city address.
Most of my dance experience includes modern, jazz, and majorette. I was the captain of my high-school's highstepping team -- a dance group similar to Radio City's Rockettes.
With oratory, I have competed nationally giving speeches about multiple topics ranging from police brutality to women's rights.
Although I am just now transitioning more to plays, I am willing to learn and be taught among the brightest.
