YUCC is a fully undergraduate choir led by student conductors. Undergraduate conductors will be supervised by Margaret Winchell, a D.M.A. choral conducting student at the Yale School of Music. YUCC will involve month-long projects consisting of three rehearsals and a showcase. Each cycle will have different conductors and repertoire and may have different singers based on interest. Student conductors have been selected for the first cycle, but we are searching for singers to fill out our choir! Below is our preliminary rehearsal schedule for the fall cycle:
Meet-and-greet lunch (optional) - Sunday, September 17th, 12:00 (Location TBD)
Rehearsal 1 - Friday, September 22nd, 12:00-2:00, Hendrie Hall 201
(Optional lunch beforehand: 11:30 in Silliman)
Rehearsal 2 - Friday, September 29th, 12:00-2:00, Hendrie Hall 201
Rehearsal 3 - Friday, October 6th, 12:00-2:00, Hendrie Hall 201
Rehearsal 4/Performance! - Friday October 13th, 12:00-2:00 (Location TBD)
