About the Film Alliance

Mission Statement

The Yale Film Alliance is a collaborative effort on the part of undergraduates, student groups, university representatives, and alumni that aims to strengthen and provide more cohesive support for those interested in the film industry, the art of cinema, and other moving image media. The Film Alliance serves as a consolidating hub for the efforts of individual students, student groups (e.g. Bulldog Productions, Yale Film Society, Yale Student Film Festival), University entities (the Yale College Dean’s Office, Film & Media Studies Department, School of Art, Center for Collaborative Arts & Media, Films at the Whitney, Undergraduate Career Services, the Film Studies Center), and alumni networks (Yale in Hollywood).

The Film Alliance supports and promotes Yale students in endeavors related to cinema, television, and online media by offering useful programs and information for interested parties both on-campus and online.
