Taking Flight’s Rockin’ Robin Benefit Concert

A night of giving and bird-centered music

Taking Flight is an educational initiative to inspire the next generation of climate leaders by fostering an environmental ethic among youth through the magic of birding. Our aim is to acknowledge, empower, and bridge the unique ornithological perspectives of students, teachers, scientists, advocates, photographers, artists, musicians, and more. We are thus excited to announce the Rockin’ Robin Benefit Concert! Please join us for a night of bird-centered music featuring performances by seven musical groups—Yale Gospel Choir, Cadence at Yale (acapella), Yale Mariachi, Yale Russian Chorus, Yale Klezmer Band, La Orquesta Tertulia, and Yale Spizzwinks (acapella)  For tickets, we are asking attendees to donate at least $3 to the Menunkatuck Audubon Society—our local chapter of the National Audubon Society that leads efforts in avian conservation, education, and outreach. Attendees will need to show the confirmation email of their donation at the door.
