SAUDADE

SAUDADE is a short film about the flow of new people through our lives, specifically focusing on how our emotional responses are often staked not in the reality of the relationship but rather the potential―the story―of the relationship that we build in our minds.

The story surrounds a college student who meets a mysterious and intoxicating individual who challenges them to become vulnerable despite their fears. With a taste of newfound emotional intimacy, our protagonist is blindsided with news that the relationship must be limited to that one encounter.
