Sea of the Daughters
by Dorothy Guo & Sonia Duan
Sea of the Daughters is set in a patriarchal coastal village and centered on a mother and daughter navigating memory, inherited trauma, and resistance through a ritual of collecting seashells—objects that hold stories of women lost to the sea. Immerse yourself in a space for intimate reflection on gender, intergenerational memory, and collective storytelling in a work that blends poetic symbolism with urgent social themes.
